We are seeking skilled and compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our dedicated care team at Elizabeth Nursing & Rehab Center, a long-term care and rehabilitation facility. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality nursing care to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with their individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor residents’ conditions and document changes in clinical records
- Supervise Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), providing guidance and support as needed
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, social workers, and families to ensure coordinated care
- Participate in care planning meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility policies, including infection control and safety protocols
- Respond to emergencies and provide first aid or CPR as needed
- Educate residents and families on health management and wellness
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of nursing assessments and interventions
Qualifications:
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Jersey
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing)
- CPR certification (required); ACLS certification (preferred)
- Prior experience in long-term care, rehabilitation, or a skilled nursing facility (preferred)
- Excellent clinical, organizational, and communication skills
- Strong leadership qualities and the ability to manage and motivate nursing staff
