A well-established and growing manufacturing organization is seeking an Assistant Controller looking to step up, to join its finance leadership team. This high-impact role will oversee the integrity of financial reporting, support strategic planning, and drive process improvements across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial statements and reporting packages.
• Manage actuals and forecasts, coordinating with key stakeholders for adjustments and reporting.
• Lead the preparation and analysis of internal and corporate financial reports.
• Oversee incentive compensation calculations and ensure accuracy.
• Support monthly operations meetings with data-driven reporting packages.
• Coordinate and develop annual budgets, strategic plans, and standard costing.
• Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley, COSO, lease accounting standards, and revenue recognition policies.
• Analyze inventory valuation, production costs, and provide recommendations on excess/obsolete inventory.
• Support tax department with data and documentation for various filings and audits.
• Participate in sustainability reporting and audit calculations.
• Drive key initiatives to improve processes and reduce costs.
• Collaborate on capital expenditure reviews and ROI analysis.
• Review divisional financials for opportunities to improve performance and reduce cost.
• Conduct periodic travel to operational sites, including locations in Mexico.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• 5 years of progressive accounting/finance experience, with strong exposure to manufacturing environments.
• Demonstrated experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance.
• Strong analytical skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Ability to collaborate across departments and locations.
