Accounts Payable Associate (Temp-to-Hire) | Los Angeles, CA | Hybrid
A leading investment management firm is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Associate to join its growing finance team on a temporary-to-hire basis. Location: Los Angeles, CA
Schedule: Hybrid – 2 days per week in office
Compensation: $68,000 annually
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 5 years of Accounts Payable experience
- Financial services, investment management, or alternative investment industry experience strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of AP processes, controls, and best practices
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office
Key Responsibilities
- Review and process vendor invoices while ensuring accuracy, approvals, and policy compliance
- Prepare and execute ACH, wire, and check payments
- Manage AP aging reports and monitor payment deadlines
- Process employee expense reimbursements and ensure compliance with company policies
- Maintain vendor records, onboarding documentation, and tax information
- Assist with month-end close activities, accruals, and reconciliations
- Support 1099 reporting, tax compliance, and external audit requests
- Partner with internal departments and offshore teams to ensure timely and accurate AP operations
- Identify process improvements and support automation initiatives
