• Provide excellent customer service to all guests
• Keep a smile with all patient and coworker interactions
• Maintain a calm and pleasant demeanor at all times
• Work well in a fast-paced environment
• Have excellent oral and written communication skills
• Demonstrate a strong attention to detail
• Have regular and predictable attendance
• Post insurance payments
• Follow up on outstanding insurance claims
• Send monthly patient statements
• Maintaining AR within guidelines
• Communicate effectively about dental treatment and handle various patient questions
• Make financial arrangements for patients
• Create and submit claims daily, and ensure receipt
• Perform monthly reviews of outstanding patient aging
• Handle refund processing
• Follow up and resolve all communication requests
• Have a strong understanding of dental insurance, claims processing, billing, and repeal process

The Best Candidate Will Have

• A high school diploma or GED
• Some post high school business education
• At least 1 year of Dental front desk experience
• At least 1 year of Dentrix software experience
• A minimum of 2 years of business office experience
• Preferably prior education &/or experience as a dental assistant
