The ideal candidate will be able to:
- Maintain a full schedule of patients daily
- Create schedules with production as the top goal to achieve
- Assist patients with understanding and accepting their clinical diagnosis
- Greet, check-in, and check-out patients in a friendly manner
- Have regular and predictable attendance.
- Work individually and cooperatively in a team environment.
- Be highly organized and excellent attention to detail.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Be compassionate and professional conduct and appearance.
- Have integrity, dependability, and adherence to professional codes of conduct.
- Multi-task, organize work, and consistently meet deadlines.
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations required for the dental profession (e.g. HIPAA, OSHA, etc.)
- Monitor and use necessary programs, having primary systems pulled up on the computer at all times.
- Answer incoming calls in a professional and timely manner, directing the caller to the appropriate person and taking messages when necessary.
The person chosen for this role will have:
- A high school diploma or GED
- Some post-high school education or certification
- A minimum of 3 years of dental front office experience is required
- A minimum of 1 year of office experience in Dentrix is required
