Job Summary
Eliquin Homes is in need of a skilled and experienced carpenter to perform exceptional construction work on various residential construction projects. The ideal candidate has extensive knowledge and experience in many facets of residential construction and is confident working independently. This role requires constant attention to detail and high-quality workmanship. You will have an immediate substantial impact in this position and your work will be recognized and greatly appreciated.
Compensation - $48.00 per hour
Schedule - 40 hours per week

Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics accurately.
- Execute rough framing and trim/finish carpentry.
- Install interior doors.
- Install various types of siding materials.
- Install various types of windows and exterior doors.
- Install various types of roofing materials.
- Apply caulk, paint, stain and other finishes to various materials.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for all construction tasks.
- Safely and effectively operate machinery including boom lifts, telehandlers and skid steers.
- Load/Unload building materials from delivery vehicles.
- Ensure proper handling of heavy lifting duties associated with construction materials.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with other tradesmen to ensure work is completed according to plans.
- Promptly report all questions or problems raised by clients, property owners and other tradesmen.
- Prioritize safety in all construction tasks and activities on the job site.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment (job site and trailer).
- Maintain a friendly demeanor and positive attitude at all times.
- Treat all other tradesmen, clients and property owners with respect and kindness at all times.

Required Experience
- Must have recent custom home building/residential construction experience
- Must have proven experience in performing high-quality work in many facets of residential construction including (but not limited to) rough framing, siding installation, window and door installation, interior and exterior trim work
