Why Nurses Love This Role
If you're looking for a behavioral health nursing role where you can truly make an impact — without the chaos of a traditional acute care floor — this opportunity is worth a serious look.
This 16-bed inpatient unit is calm, structured, and team-oriented. Patients are independent with their ADLs, and the environment is built around recovery-focused care: no restraints, no seclusion, no security. It's a place where nurses have the time and space to actually connect with their patients and do meaningful clinical work.
With an average length of stay of 3–10 days, you'll see real progress. About 80% of patients come are admitted voluntarily — and you'll play a direct role in stabilizing them and getting them on the road to recovery.
This is a Bell Seal Certified Workplace for Mental Health — recognized for its commitment to a supportive, inclusive, and mentally healthy work environment.
