What You’ll Do
Define the AI Vision
- Establish and own the company’s AI strategy, roadmap, and long-term vision
- Identify high-leverage opportunities to apply AI across products, operations, and decision-making
- Translate business priorities into actionable AI initiatives
Build & Scale Intelligent Systems
- Lead the design and deployment of production-grade AI systems, including LLM-powered applications and agentic workflows
- Architect scalable, modular systems that integrate with existing platforms and data infrastructure
- Ensure solutions are reliable, performant, and built for real-world usage
Own End-to-End Delivery
- Oversee the full lifecycle of AI initiatives—from concept to deployment to continuous improvement
- Drive rapid experimentation while maintaining a high bar for quality and correctness
- Establish best practices for evaluation, monitoring, and iteration of AI systems
Lead and Elevate the Team
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of AI engineers, data scientists, and applied researchers
- Set technical standards and create a culture of ownership, speed, and accountability
- Partner cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Business leaders
Bridge Business and Technology
- Act as a strategic partner to executive leadership, advising on AI capabilities and investments
- Communicate complex AI concepts in clear, actionable terms
- Ensure alignment between technical execution and business impact
What You Bring
- Proven experience building and deploying AI/ML systems in production environments
- Deep understanding of modern AI capabilities, including LLMs, agent frameworks, and applied machine learning
- Strong software engineering foundation (Python or similar) and experience with scalable system design
- Experience working with cloud platforms and data infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Track record of leading teams and delivering complex technical initiatives
- Ability to operate at both a strategic and hands-on level
