Diabetic Nurse Educator – Maternal Child | Las Vegas, NV
Are you a passionate RN with a knack for patient education and a heart for maternal care? We're looking for a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) to join our team and make a meaningful impact on patients navigating a diabetes diagnosis.
What You'll Do:
- Deliver individual and group diabetes education sessions tailored to patient and family needs
- Develop, implement, and evaluate clinical diabetes education programs
- Collaborate with care teams to support lifestyle changes including nutrition, medication, activity, and glucose monitoring
- Document and report using EMR and Microsoft Office tools
What You'll Bring:
- Active Nevada RN license
- 3 years of clinical nursing experience in a hospital setting
- 1 year as a diabetes educator
- CDCES certification (or ability to obtain within 1 year of hire)
- BLS certification (AHA accepted)
