Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations at our bustling dining establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of food service management, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. This role involves managing staff, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining efficient restaurant operations in a fast-paced environment. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate all restaurant activities, including food preparation, service, and cleanliness
- Oversee staff training, development, and scheduling to ensure optimal team performance
- Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS
- Handle cash transactions accurately and oversee cash handling procedures
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of food handling and hygiene
- Monitor restaurant performance metrics and implement strategies to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth food production and timely service
- Oversee shift management, including opening and closing procedures
- Conduct interviews and participate in hiring new team members to build a strong workforce
- Manage budgeting, cost control, and overall financial performance of the restaurant
- Maintain a welcoming atmosphere that aligns with hospitality standards for casual dining, fine dining, catering, or banquet services
Requirements
- Proven management experience within the food industry, including supervising teams in quick service & fast food restaurants or fine dining environments
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards, culinary practices, and kitchen management
- Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; cash handling expertise required
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train & develop staff effectively
- Demonstrated ability in inventory control, budgeting, and food production management
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on hospitality excellence
- Background in food preparation, cooking, or culinary arts is preferred
- Experience in restaurant experience including shift management, supervising staff, and managing food service operations
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Strong communication skills with experience in interviewing and team management
