Bartender

Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and personable Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, exceptional customer service skills, and experience in various food and beverage environments. This role offers an exciting opportunity to serve in a lively setting, including nightclubs, fine dining establishments, and banquet events. The Bartender will be responsible for creating memorable experiences for guests while efficiently managing drink orders and maintaining a clean, safe environment. Prior experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is preferred, along with strong skills in time management, sales, and food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in a timely and professional manner
• Take drink orders accurately using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Ensure all drinks are prepared according to standard recipes and presentation guidelines
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
• Manage cash handling and cashiering duties accurately during shifts
• Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service, creating a welcoming atmosphere
• Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and ensure safety
• Restock bar supplies as needed, including alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and glassware
• Assist with event setups such as banquets or catering functions when required
• Follow all licensing laws and company policies related to serving alcohol

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or hospitality roles, especially in nightclubs, fine dining, or banquet settings
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and measuring ingredients
• Experience in serving alcohol responsibly in the food industry or hospitality sector
• Ability to work night shifts in a fast-paced environment including nightclubs or bars
• Strong communication skills and teamwork orientation
