We are seeking compassionate, dependable, and flexible PRN Residential Counselors / Youth Mentors to join our dedicated team. This role is ideal for individuals with experience in youth mentoring, direct care, behavioral health, or counseling who are passionate about helping young people succeed.
Flexible scheduling for PRN staff — work as needed on day or night shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure student safety through active supervision, engagement, and monitoring.
- Support students emotionally and environmentally by following individualized treatment plans.
- Apply Eliada’s crisis intervention model, including safe physical restraint techniques when absolutely necessary (training provided).
- Conduct regular safety checks and maintain a calm, supportive environment throughout the shift.
- Assist with daily routines such as meals, laundry, recreational activities, and bedtime preparation, depending on shift assignment.
- Attend team meetings and participate in pre- and post-shift debriefings to ensure consistent communication and care continuity.
- Maintain accurate mental health and program documentation in compliance with agency standards.
- Communicate effectively with guardians, residential staff, and agency professionals to support holistic, trauma-informed care.
- Build positive, trusting relationships with students to promote self-awareness, personal growth, and lasting change.
- Facilitate or assist with student processing sessions under Eliada’s therapeutic model.
- Safely transport students between program locations using an agency vehicle, as needed.

Requirements
- At least 21 years old
- Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
- High School Diploma or GED
- Agree to a Background Screening and Drug Test upon hire
- Possess a valid NC Drivers License
