Position Overview
Elevating Generations is seeking a Qualified Professional (QP) to provide clinical oversight within our Level III residential treatment program serving adolescents ages 12–17.
This role ensures compliance with North Carolina DHHS 10A NCAC 27G rules and supports the delivery of structured, trauma-informed care. This is a flexible, part-time opportunity ideal for a professional seeking supplemental hours while maintaining meaningful clinical involvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical oversight and supervision of residential services
- Ensure compliance with NC DHHS 27G service definitions and documentation standards
- Review and approve:
- Person-Centered Plans (PCPs)
- Assessments and service documentation
- Incident reports and restrictive interventions
- Monitor client progress toward treatment goals
- Provide guidance and consultation to direct care staff
- Participate in treatment team meetings as needed
- Assist with discharge planning and continuity of care
- Support audits, licensing reviews, and quality improvement efforts
Minimum Qualifications (Per NC DHHS 10A NCAC 27G)
Candidate must meet Qualified Professional (QP) criteria as defined by NC DHHS:
Education & Experience (one of the following):
- Bachelor’s degree in a Human Services field 2 years full-time experience with the MH/DD/SAS population
- Master’s degree in a Human Services field 1 year experience
- Licensed professional (LCSW, LCMHC, LMFT, etc.)
Human Services Fields Include:
Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Human Services, Sociology, or other related behavioral health fields
Required Knowledge:
- Familiarity with 10A NCAC 27G rules
- Experience working with adolescents with mental health or behavioral needs
- Understanding of trauma-informed care practices
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Level III residential treatment
- Knowledge of NC Medicaid and documentation standards
- Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills
Work Schedule
- 1 day per week on-site (required)
- Remaining hours remote (documentation review, oversight, consultation)
- Flexible within program needs
