Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavioral Health Professional to join our team. This role is essential in providing support and guidance to individuals facing mental health challenges. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of various therapeutic techniques and be committed to fostering a safe and supportive environment for clients.
Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor individualized Person-Centered Plans (PCPs) based on comprehensive assessments.
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Conduct group therapy sessions 1-2 times a week to address clients' mental health needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions and treatment progress.
- Provide crisis intervention as needed and ensure the safety of clients.
- Participate in team meetings, treatment planning meetings, and reviews of client progress.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential documentation including progress notes, incident reports, PCP reviews, and other required records
- Provide training and guidance to direct care staff regarding client rights, behavior management, and crisis intervention.
- Ensure all staff adhere to agency policies and procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct quality assurance
Experience:
- Two (2) years of full-time, post-bachelor’s degree accumulated experience providing direct care or habilitation services to individuals with mental health, developmental disabilities, or substance abuse issues.
- OR a Master’s degree in a human services field with one (1) year of applicable experience.
