Role Description We are seeking a highly credentialed Nurse Practitioner (NP) for a full-time, on-site clinical role. The presiding practitioner will be responsible for the acute and ongoing clinical evaluation, definitive diagnosis, and strategic management of personal injury patients.
A critical component of this role requires providing direct continuity of care within our neurology department. You will serve as the primary clinical authority for neurological assessments, TBI management, and complex symptom evaluation when our staff Neurologist is off-site, ensuring patients experience zero interruption in specialized care.
As a core provider within our facility, you will execute thorough medical examinations, document nuanced patient progress, and implement targeted treatment protocols. This role demands seamless collaboration with our internal multidisciplinary network to execute in-house procedures and ensure exacting clinical documentation for coordinated legal and medical review.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in the State of Texas.
- Neurological Expertise: Substantial clinical experience in neurological evaluation, concussion protocols, and TBI management is required to effectively bridge care gaps and provide high-level support in the Neurologist's absence.
- Clinical Acumen: Demonstrated expertise in complex patient evaluation, diagnostic formulation, and the execution of strategic treatment plans within personal injury, pain management, or orthopedic rehabilitation.
- Technical Proficiency: High-level competency in precise medical documentation and a strong working knowledge of advanced in-house diagnostic modalities, including TBI testing and EMG.
