The Role:
ElevateBio is seeking a Front Desk Receptionist to work in Waltham office. The ideal candidate will be comfortable wearing many hats and will a possess the mentality that no job is too big, and no job is too small. This position will be the perfect fit for someone that is energetic, extremely reliable, hospitable, and confident. Resourceful, organized, and efficient are skills that will assist them in excelling in this role.

Communication is of paramount importance with this role, so having a high level of comfort interacting with all levels of management, guests, and visitors is a must. Here’s What You’ll Do:
- Greet visitors and assist with the check in process
- Ensure all guests feel welcomed and supported during their visit
- Assist the Office Administrator in maintaining an inventory and stock of food & beverages in the kitchen, as well as office supplies throughout the office.
- Provide assistance in the coordination and support for meetings which includes conference room re-assignment
- Various additional clerical and administrative tasks as needed, not limited to answering the office phone, responding to inquiries via email, filing and scheduling
- Coordinate access to various supplies throughout the company
Requirements:
- 2 years previous administrative and/or Front Desk Receptionist experience
- Hospitality background is preferred but not required
- Experience and comfort with a small biotech company environment preferred but not required
- Must have strong ability to exercise sound judgment and professional maturity
- Must be able to handle a high volume, fast-paced environment
- Well organized, self-motivated handworker, very smart independent thinker, works well under pressure and deadlines, detail oriented
- Must be able to work cooperatively as a team member
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written) are a must
- Ability to interact with internal and external contacts at all levels of management including Executives and Senior Management
- A thorough knowledge of word-processing and standard office equipment is required
- Must have advanced skills with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Calendar Management.
