Elevate is recruiting Temporary Employment Investigation Analyst to join our Legal Managed Services team supporting Employment Investigations.
These roles are on-site in Nashville, TN and are a 2-month Temporary position with the possibility of going permanent.
The Employment Investigation Analyst is an entry-level to early-career investigations professional responsible for supporting workplace investigations and related case management activities. This role focuses on delivering consistent, high-quality support for lower-complexity matters and assisting with the factual, documentation, and workflow components of medium-complexity investigations. The Junior Investigator works within a structured operating model, utilizing standardized playbooks, templates, and quality controls to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with customer requirements. The role is well-suited for individuals with backgrounds in legal operations, paralegal services, employee relations support, compliance operations, or employment litigation support.
Specifically, the Employment Investigation Analyst will:
- Support matter intake, initial scoping, and development of investigation plans using approved templates and escalation criteria.
- Review documents, evidence, and case materials; organize information into chronologies, evidence logs, and issue summaries.
- Compare facts against applicable policies, procedures, and investigation playbooks under the direction of more senior investigators.
- Prepare factual summaries, closure notes, evidence indexes, and draft case documentation.
- Maintain accurate case records, status updates, and documentation within customer-approved case management systems.
- Escalate potential risks, missing information, conflicting evidence, or unusual fact patterns to mid-level or senior investigators.
- Support quality assurance initiatives by following established workflows, templates, checklists, and feedback mechanisms.
- Assist with preparation of investigation files and related reporting requirements.
- Meet productivity, quality, and service level expectations within a high-volume operating environment.
- Protect confidential and sensitive information in accordance with company and customer requirements.
Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in legal operations, paralegal services, employee relations support, compliance operations, investigations support, or employment litigation support.
- Experience working in a structured, process-driven environment with defined workflows and quality standards.
- Experience handling confidential or sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Degrees in Legal Studies, Criminal Justice, Human Resources, Business Administration, Political Science, Psychology, or related disciplines are preferred.
- Relevant professional certifications, paralegal certification, HR certifications, or investigation-related training are considered a plus.
- Equivalent combinations of education and relevant professional experience will be considered.
Compensation
- The pay rate for this on-site temporary role is $29-34/hour based on job-related skills and experience.
