Title: Senior Accounting Manager

Position Summary
The Senior Manager of Accounting will play a critical role in overseeing core accounting operations, ensuring compliance with reporting requirements, and supporting the development of effective financial controls. This individual will help drive improvements in working capital, streamline accounting processes, and contribute to building a scalable finance organization. The role requires a hands-on leader with strong technical expertise and experience in a fast-paced, PE-backed environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Help drive an efficient month-end close process, targeting an accelerated close timeline.
- Support timely and accurate financial reporting, including cash flow, lender reporting, and private equity stakeholder deliverables.
- Assist in establishing and enhancing internal controls and reporting frameworks.
- Maintain accurate multi-entity accounting and support consolidation processes within the ERP system.
- Improve accounts receivable processes, including billing, collections, and reconciliations.
- Assist with inventory analysis, including identification of excess and obsolete stock.
- Support optimization of accounts payable processes and vendor payment strategies.
- Maintain organized financial documentation to support audit readiness and reporting transparency.
- Partner with FP&A to improve reporting accuracy and financial visibility.
- Support the development and mentorship of the accounting team.
- Assist in implementing standardized accounting policies and procedures.
- Partner with leadership on treasury-related activities, including cash management oversight.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
- 5–8 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Experience within a private equity-backed or high-growth environment preferred.
- Strong background in financial reporting, accounting operations, and process improvement.
- Experience with ERP systems and automation initiatives.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Salary : $135,000 - $175,000
