We are seeking a motivated and friendly Front Desk / Team Member to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere while maintaining the gym. This role involves managing front desk and gym operations, assisting with inquiries, and promoting our products and services. A strong background in retail sales and customer service is essential, along with excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist guests upon arrival, providing a warm welcome and addressing their needs.
- Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently using POS systems.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties.
- Upsell products and services to enhance guest experience while maximizing revenue.
- Maintain an organized front desk area, including merchandising and stocking supplies.
- Provide product demos when necessary to inform guests about offerings.
- Address guest inquiries via phone or in person with excellent phone etiquette.
- Supervise front desk operations as needed, ensuring smooth daily functions.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver outstanding customer service.
Experience
- Previous experience in a customer service role is required; retail sales experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills for accurate cash handling.
- Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership capabilities.
