Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic MedSpa receptionist / aesthetician to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will be the welcoming face of our clinic, providing exceptional customer service while assisting clients with a variety of aesthetic treatments and spa services. Your expertise in skincare and aesthetic procedures will ensure clients feel comfortable, informed, and cared for from their first visit through their ongoing treatments. Responsibilities
- Greet clients warmly upon arrival, creating a positive and professional first impression.
- Schedule appointments efficiently, managing the clinic’s calendar to optimize client flow.
- Provide detailed consultations on skincare routines, aesthetic treatments, and available spa services.
- Perform various aesthetic treatments such as facials, microdermabrasion, chemical peels, dermabrasion, and laser treatments following safety protocols.
- Conduct body waxing services including waxing and other spa services to enhance client satisfaction.
- Maintain strict sanitation and hygiene standards across all treatment areas and equipment.
- Educate clients on skincare products and retail options to support their ongoing beauty routines.
- Handle client communication effectively, addressing questions and ensuring a seamless experience from consultation to post-treatment care.
- Assist with retail sales by recommending suitable products based on individual client needs.
- Support the team in maintaining a clean, organized environment that reflects our commitment to professionalism and safety.
Experience
- Proven experience as an aesthetician or skincare specialist with knowledge of esthetic laser treatments, facials, dermabrasion, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, and makeup application.
- Strong background in providing spa services such as waxing (body waxing included), facials, and other aesthetic treatments.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with diverse clients.
- Familiarity with sanitation standards and safety protocols essential for maintaining a hygienic treatment environment.
- Experience in retail sales or product recommendation is preferred but not required.
- Cosmetology or esthetician licensing as required by state law is mandatory for performing treatments.
- Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting.
