Job Title: Reliability and Maintenance Engineer
Location: Oshkosh, WI - Onsite
Employment Type: Fulltime
Note: Its a fulltime role and Sponsorship is not available.
Must-Have Skills:
- Reliability and Maintainability engineering experience on complex systems
- Understanding of vehicle systems and system integration
- Experience performing FMECA, RCM, and Level of Repair Analysis (LORA) Ability to interpret failure analysis data and maintenance strategies
- Experience developing maintenance, operator, and troubleshooting instructions
- Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work autonomously and proactively report program status
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience interpreting engineering drawings and schematics
- Collaboration with engineering, testing, aftermarket, and customer teams
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Advanced math and statistics background Advanced technical writing skills
- Experience with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems Diesel, agricultural, or heavy equipment repair/assembly experience
- Familiarity with CAD tools and programming (VBA, Arbortext, etc.)
- Experience with PTC tools (Windchill, Creo, Windchill Quality Solutions)
- Vendor development and support experience
- Experience with Condition Based Maintenance (CBM) solutions
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform aftermarket supportability and design-for-maintainability analyses on vehicle platforms.
- Analyze systems using FMECA, RCM, and LORA to define maintenance strategies and lifecycle support plans. Participate in design reviews to influence reliability, maintainability, and serviceability outcomes.
- Develop operator, maintenance, and troubleshooting instructions and technical documentation.
- Support design, prototype, pilot, and production phases with technical expertise and reliability insights.
- Communicate with customers and internal teams to plan, execute, and exceed program requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or equivalent)
- Minimum 3 years of reliability/maintainability experience in a heavy equipment industry
- Understanding of vehicular systems and system integration
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CAD tools Ability to meet high-volume, variable deadlines and work in a dynamic environment
