Job Title: Production Support Associate

Shift: Thursday through Sunday, 9am to 7:30pm

Interview Process: 30 minute phone interview

6 month anticipated assignment, with possibility of extension based on demand.

Client Overview

This job is at a major materials science and technology manufacturing site in Fairport, NY. You'll support production by helping keep the building clean, moving materials between buildings, and keeping production systems updated.

• Warehouse or shipping experience
• Manufacturing execution system or plant system experience
• Material handling equipment experience, including pallet jacks and lift equipment
  
  

What You'll Do

• Perform work in line with written work instructions
• Move and log materials through production systems
• Clean and maintain a tidy work area
• Prepare materials for production and logistics tasks
• Use plant systems, including document control and manufacturing execution systems
• Communicate clearly and keep records updated
• Train others on job responsibilities
• Drive a van between buildings to move parts and materials as needed
• Use lift equipment and mobile racking for picking materials
  
  

What We Need From You

• High school diploma or GED
• 1 to 2 years of work experience
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to lift and move materials up to 25 pounds
  
  

Preferred / Bonus

• Shipping or warehouse experience
