What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Marketing Manager position at Elevait Solutions?
Job Title: Field Marketing Manager, Federal
Industry: Cybersecurity
Location: Washington, DC (100% Remote)
Pay Rate: Up to $60/hr
Client Overview
This role sits inside a publicly traded, multibillion dollar cybersecurity company built around zero trust data protection and cyber recovery. The company generates more than 1.4 billion dollars in annual revenue and grew its headcount by nearly 20 percent over the past year. Its government focused division has spent close to a decade earning the trust of federal, state, and local agencies and holds FedRAMP authorization at the moderate impact level, giving it a foothold with defense, civilian, and intelligence community customers. You would join the marketing team supporting this Federal business, working closely with the sales organization to keep already planned second half programs, campaigns, and events running on schedule.

Pay Transparency
This role is based in Washington, DC. Consistent with DC's Wage Transparency Act, the pay range for this position is $ per hour to $ per hour, and information about available healthcare benefits will be provided before the first interview.
Internal Market Recap
That pay rate lines up well with the market: full time Field Marketing Manager base pay in DC runs roughly 82,000 to 136,000 depending on seniority, and B2B marketing manager pay nationally runs 89,000 to 156,000, so 53 to 61 per hour on a 4 month contract (roughly 110,000 to 127,000 annualized) is competitive for this experience band. Being fully remote widens the candidate pool beyond the DC corridor, which helps offset the main headwind: candidates with 5 plus years of Federal field marketing experience often prefer permanent roles, so sourcing should lean toward marketing contractors, agency alumni, or people between roles who are comfortable with a defined 4 month engagement. It may help to flag the possibility of extension into 2027 planning if that is realistic.
