Job Title: Electrical Assembler (2nd Shift)

Location: Colonial Heights

Shift: 2nd Shift (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Pay Rate: $17.00/hour

Contract Duration: 6 months

Job Summary

We are seeking an Electrical Assembler to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will assemble electrical control panels, install electrical components, read wiring diagrams and schematics, and ensure all work meets quality and safety standards. Previous manufacturing or electrical assembly experience is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Read and interpret work orders, engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics.

Assemble electrical control panels and related components.

Mount electrical enclosures, cabinets, and devices.

Route and install wiring, cables, and conduit according to UL471, NEMA, and NEC standards.

Crimp and connect wires to terminals, plugs, and electrical components.

Label and identify completed wiring accurately.

Use hand tools, power tools, and basic electrical test equipment.

Assist engineering with new product development and continuous improvement initiatives.

Train team members as needed.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following company safety policies.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.

Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.

Basic knowledge of electrical circuits and testing equipment.

Experience using hand and power tools in electrical applications.

Previous electrical assembly or electrical work experience preferred.

Manufacturing experience preferred.

Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
