We are seeking an experienced Fulfillment Pharmacy Technician to support a fast-paced specialty pharmacy environment. This role works under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist and plays a critical part in prescription processing, claims adjudication, medication preparation, packaging, and shipment of specialty medications.
This is a back-end fulfillment role, not a front-end or customer-facing retail position.

Key Responsibilities
• Enter and process new and refill prescriptions accurately
• Assist pharmacists with prescription preparation, labeling, and verification
• Adjudicate pharmacy claims and resolve related issues
• Contact prescribers for clarifications and refill authorizations
• Fill and package patient orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Prepare shipments and generate shipping labels
• Schedule deliveries with patients, caregivers, or prescribers
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
• Complete quality assurance documentation
• Clean and maintain dispensing workstations and equipment
Required Qualifications
• High School Diploma or GED
• Active Florida Pharmacy Technician License (required)
• 3–5 years of pharmacy technician experience
• Specialty pharmacy experience strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of drug terminology and pharmaceutical calculations
• Knowledge of HIPAA, regulatory, and accreditation standards
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume fulfillment environment
