The Fordland R-III School District is accepting applications for an Early Childhood teaching position for the 2026-2027 school year.
Fordland currently operates on a 150-student day calendar. The calendar is family-friendly, with larger breaks at Thanksgiving, Christmas, and spring break. The district operates on a four-day schedule with approximately ten professional development days on the calendar.
Fordland Preschool is dedicated to nurturing young children. We serve three to five-year-olds and their families. The ideal candidate should have a passion for working with preschool children and a strong knowledge of and commitment to the constructivist educational approach. Candidates should have excellent communication skills with children, parents, and colleagues. They need to effectively collaborate with team members, show a willingness to grow and learn professionally, and perform duties as assigned by the director. Relationships, relevance, and student success are the key focus of Fordland R-3 School District. Applicants must possess appropriate Missouri DESE certification (Early Childhood, B-3). Previous experience is preferred, but not required.
