Warehouse Sorter / Receiver - 2nd Shift Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Sorter / Receiver to join our warehouse team on 2nd Shift. This role is responsible for receiving inbound shipments, verifying products against packing slips, sorting materials, and ensuring inventory is accurately processed and organized. The ideal candidate has a strong attention to detail, works well in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
Shift: 4:00 PM - 12:30 AM
Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities- Receive and unload inbound shipments from trucks and carriers.
- Verify incoming products against packing slips, purchase orders, and shipping documentation.
- Inspect shipments for accuracy, damages, shortages, or discrepancies.
- Sort, label, and organize incoming materials in designated warehouse locations.
- Accurately count and record inventory received.
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail when checking products and documentation.
- Report inventory discrepancies, damaged goods, or receiving issues to management.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all warehouse procedures and safety guidelines.
- Assist with order picking, packaging, and other warehouse duties as needed.
- Previous warehouse, receiving, sorting, or inventory experience preferred.
- Ability to read and understand packing slips and shipping documents.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Basic computer skills are a plus.
- Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs.
- Frequent bending, reaching, stooping, and repetitive movements.
