We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse, contributing to inventory management, order fulfillment, and overall logistics. This position requires a strong work ethic, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to operate various warehouse equipment.
Duties
- Operate warehouse equipment including cranes and RF scanners to facilitate the movement of goods.
- Fabricate and assemble products as needed within the warehouse environment.
- Utilize the Warehouse Management System (WMS) for tracking inventory levels and managing stock.
- Perform order picking tasks accurately and efficiently to fulfill customer orders.
- Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure accuracy and maintain optimal stock levels.
- Assist in loading and unloading shipments, ensuring proper handling of materials.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Mechanical knowledge is essential for operating heavy equipment safely and effectively.
- Familiarity with AS400 systems or similar inventory management software is a plus.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts or cranes safely.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods.
- A proactive attitude towards safety protocols and warehouse procedures.
- Strong communication skills for effective teamwork.

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
