Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Machine Operator with approximately 1 year of hands-on experience in a manufacturing or production environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining machinery to ensure efficient production and quality output.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor machines to ensure proper functionality during production runs
- Set up machines according to specifications (calibration, cleaning, etc.)
- Inspect finished products for quality and ensure compliance with specifications
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow safety protocols and company policies at all times
- Complete production documentation accurately and on time
- Work closely with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of experience operating machinery in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and manuals
- Strong attention to detail and quality control standards
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including overtime as needed
Preferred Skills (Not Required):
- Experience with CNC machines, injection molding, or packaging equipment
- Basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles
- Forklift certification
