Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable, hands-on Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role involves a variety of tasks to maintain company property, buildings, and equipment. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with general knowledge of building maintenance, groundskeeping, and minor construction projects.
Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance and repairs on company property, including shingling, painting, mowing, and snow/sand removal.
- Complete HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) duties as assigned (training provided).
- Ensure food safety and quality standards are met at all times.
- Identify and report any non-conforming products or equipment immediately to a supervisor.
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
- Handle frequent lifting and moving of materials (up to 50 lbs).
- Regularly climb stairs and operate basic maintenance equipment.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- General knowledge of building construction, outdoor equipment, and groundskeeping.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and committed to safety and quality.
- Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
- Ability to climb stairs frequently.
- Capable of performing physically demanding tasks.
