Full job description
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Houseperson to support housekeeping and laundry operations in our hotel. This role helps maintain clean, safe, and welcoming public areas while ensuring laundry services meet hotel standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain public areas, restrooms, work areas, and back-of-house spaces
- Assist housekeeping with room tasks, trash removal, and supply replenishment
- Perform property walks to ensure cleanliness and functionality
- Wash, dry, fold, press, and iron hotel linens and guest laundry
- Remove stains and perform minor sewing repairs as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized laundry area
- Respond to guest requests and coordinate with the front desk
- Report maintenance or safety issues promptly
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Hotel or housekeeping experience a plus, but not required
- Strong attention to detail and customer service skills
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs (with assistance for heavier items)
