About this Position:
Job Title: Business Analyst
Daily Duties / Responsibilities:
Serve as Cerner Analyst for Cerner PowerChart implementation, including system optimization, testing, and validation.
Build and configure PowerChart components such as PowerNote, PowerForm, PowerPlan, ESH, and Dynamic Docs.
Develop and maintain DCWs, Discern rules, and support system maintenance activities.
Collaborate with clinical analysts to define workflows, documentation, and future-state processes.
Lead design, development, deployment, support, and maintenance of applications and information processes.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues, perform root cause analysis, and manage escalations when required.
Follow change control processes and ensure timely task completion with proper documentation and communication.
Lead testing, release management, UAT, validation scripts, and system upgrades or enhancements.
Manage system security, user access, training, documentation, and data quality monitoring.
Drive continuous improvement, reporting, interface management, and collaboration with IT and business teams.
Required Skills:
5 Years of Experience with IT Healthcare Systems, Application Support.
5 Years of Experience with as an IT Systems Analyst.
5 Years of Experience with HL7 Language.
5 Years of Experience with FSI- Foreign Systems Integration.
5 Years of Experience with Cerner Olympus.
5 Years of Experience with Compiling Reports.
Preferred Skills:
Cerner CCL query language.
Cerner HNA User.
Cerner Bedrock.
Cerner Remedy.
Cerner Reference Lab Network (RLN).
Cerner Work Queue Manager (WQM).
Cerner Remote Report Distribution (RRD).
Java Script.
MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio), MS Outlook, MS SharePoint.
