Job Description:
Inspector level 1 is primarily responsible for magnetizing parts, stabilization, and magnetic inspections using Helmholtz coils and gauss probes.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Required operations:
- Magnetization
- Magnetic inspection
- Helmholtz coil
- Gauss probe (operates)
- LVFS (operates)
- Visual inspection
- Microscope
- Part marking
- Manual marking
- Laser marking
- Mark inspection
Other responsibilities:
- Ensure proper polarity per part print
- Stabilize material post saturation
- Record sample data per magnetic inspection.
- Process 100% inspection when applicable
- Record information on routers
- Epicor transactions
- Basic blueprint reading
Desired additional operations:
- Magnetic inspection
- LVFS (set up)
- Styker magnetic inspection robot
- M-Axis plotter (operating)
- Rotor plotter (operating)
- Magnetize
- Large magnetizer
- Magnetic adjusting
- High volume auto magnetizer
- Mechanical inspection
- Level 2 inspector tools
- Intermediate blueprint reading
- Compiling customer documentation
- Generates NCMR paperwork.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year manufacturing experience.

- Ability to understand verbal instructions and comply with safety and quality regulations.
1st shift- Monday through Friday, 6:30am-3pm
2nd shift- Monday through Thursday, 3pm-1:30am
