Key Responsibilities
- Identify and penetrate new customer segments.
- Influence product/ project specifications at the consultant, influencer and end-user level.
- Qualify and hand over leads to account/sales managers.
- Build strategic partnerships with stakeholders and influencers.
- Support brand positioning through early engagement.
- Strong hunter mentality with product/ project sales skills.
- 5 years in business development or specification sales.
- Understanding of tender processes, buying cycles and solution selling.
- Sector-specific experience (e.g., commercial buildings, power generation/ renewables, water waste-water, HVACR, light industry etc).
- Technical understanding of motors and motor control, industrial automation, or power and energy systems.
- Location: Regional Office.
- Travel Requirements: Extensive field work.
- Working Hours: Flexible for customer access.
- Compensation Range: In line with relevant industry benchmarks for Paterson grade.
