Tech Connect Coordinator – Hybrid Schedule
Elder Services of Worcester Area, Inc. (ESWA) is seeking a Tech Connect Coordinator to join our Business Development Department. This position helps older adults and other eligible consumers access and use technology to improve communication, independence, and access to services. Responsibilities include outreach, eligibility screening, device distribution, technology training, home visits, referral tracking, and community partnership development. The Coordinator works closely with consumers, caregivers, community organizations, and ESWA staff to support positive participant outcomes and successful program operations. Position funded through December 2026. Continued contingent upon additional funding.
Qualifications and Abilities: A high school diploma is required, and at least one year of relevant technical experience is preferred. Multilingual proficiency is a plus. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively train and support older adults and individuals with varying levels of technology experience. Experience working with older adults is preferred. The successful candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accurate records and providing excellent customer service. Strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently and collaboratively, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications are required. A reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and active vehicle insurance are required, as regular travel throughout the service area is necessary. Applicants must also be able to lift and carry up to 20 pounds and climb stairs. The ideal candidate will be committed to building positive relationships with consumers and community partners while promoting digital inclusion and independence through technology.
Non-negotiable Salary: $25.24 to $25.76 per hour
- HIRING BONUS will be awarded in 2 parts, half at 120 Days, and half at 1 year of active employment. The bonus for this position is $1,000.00.
