Senior Paralegal- Private Funds & Investment Management
A highly regarded law firm is seeking a Senior Paralegal / Paralegal Coordinator to support its Private Funds & Investment Management practice group. This role offers substantial client exposure and hands-on involvement in investment fund formation, securities offerings, regulatory compliance, and transactional matters.
The ideal candidate will have strong academic credentials, prior financial or investment management experience, and the ability to manage substantive legal work within a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Support the formation, maintenance, and ongoing management of investment funds and related corporate entities.
- Assist with securities offerings, regulatory compliance, transactional matters, and closings.
- Prepare, review, and update legal and corporate documentation.
- Conduct legal and corporate research related to investment management matters.
- Maintain direct client communication and assist with ongoing client matters.
- Support the firm’s conflicts administration process through Intapp.
- Assist with onboarding, training, and mentoring junior paralegals.
- Collaborate with attorneys and firm leadership on special projects and operational initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 4 years of paralegal or related legal experience required.
- Experience within private funds, investment management, financial services, or corporate transactional practice areas strongly preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Comfortable interacting directly with attorneys and clients in a professional environment.
- Experience with Intapp or conflicts administration processes is a plus.
Compensation & Schedule
- Salary range: $80,000 – $150,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
- Hybrid schedule with significant remote flexibility throughout the year.
- Standard hours: 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM (35-hour work week).
- Overtime eligible position.
- No billable hour requirement, though annual expectations are approximately 1200–1500 hours.
