Job Description
Ekspert Counsel is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Paralegal to join a growing plaintiff-side personal injury practice. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys supporting attorneys while helping injured clients navigate the legal process.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal injury law, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously. Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is required.
Responsibilities
- Support attorneys throughout all phases of personal injury matters.
- Maintain and manage a high-volume caseload from intake through resolution.
- Communicate regularly with clients, medical providers, insurance carriers, and other parties involved in the claims process.
- Obtain, review, and organize medical records, billing records, accident reports, and supporting documentation.
- Assist with drafting legal correspondence, demand packages, discovery responses, and other case-related documents.
- Coordinate client medical treatment and track treatment progress.
- Monitor deadlines and ensure case files remain accurate, organized, and up to date.
- Prepare case summaries and assist attorneys with settlement negotiations.
- Schedule depositions, mediations, hearings, and other case-related appointments.
- Provide exceptional client service and maintain consistent communication throughout the life of each case.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of personal injury paralegal experience.
- Strong knowledge of personal injury case management and procedures.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
- Experience obtaining and reviewing medical records and billing documentation.
Compensation: $70,000 - $80,000 Benefits
