We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Line Lead to join our team. As a Line Lead, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our packaging line while upholding the highest standards of safety, food safety, and quality throughout the plant.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate a team of employees to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the packaging line.
- Uphold the highest standards of safety, food safety, and quality throughout the plant.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance line efficiencies, reduce waste, and optimize productivity.
- Oversee all aspects of line operations, including assigning workstations and coordinating training programs for packaging line personnel.
- Collaborate closely with the management team to ensure compliance with industry standards, including those set by the American Institute of Baking (AIB), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), Food Defense, and BRC food audits.
- Facilitate the implementation of corrective actions to address any deviations from established standards.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a leadership role within a manufacturing or packaging environment.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and quality control processes.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to effectively train and develop team members.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Certification or training in relevant industry standards and practices is a plus.
Working Hours: 4:30PM-12:00AM
