We are seeking a skilled TIG Welder/Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the manufacture and rework of custom parts, primarily using light gauge stainless steel, aluminum, and plastic. This role requires proficiency in reading blueprints and working with a variety of equipment, including TIG welders, press brakes, shears, punches, and other hand tools. Attention to detail and precision is key in ensuring the quality of the fabricated products.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Manufacture and rework custom parts using light gauge stainless steel, aluminum, and plastic materials
- Read and interpret blueprints for precision in custom parts manufacturing
- Operate a variety of equipment, such as press brakes, shears, punches, cross-cut saws, drills, TIG welders, plasma cutters, spot welders, and hand tools
- Ensure that all parts meet quality standards and specifications
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and maintain a safe working environment
- Troubleshoot equipment and process issues as they arise
Skills/Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a TIG Welder/Fabricator
- Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and drawings
- Familiarity with a variety of fabrication tools and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and precision in workmanship
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
- Physical ability to handle heavy equipment and materials as needed
