Job description

EJO Ventures (https://www.ejoventures.net/) is an Aviation IT Design/Consulting, Systems Integration and Project Management firm. EJO Ventures is looking for self-motivated IT-savvy individuals who aren't afraid to build their construction skillset. 

We have an immediate opportunity for “entry/mid-level” IT Technician staffing, for 1-2 individuals for ongoing maintenance and service of technology systems, at the RDU Airport. The opportunity is on a full-time staffing basis. All candidates must have capable knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, data network architecture and equipment, intermediate understanding of IT standards and practices, mastery over smart devices (tablets, laptops, cell phones, etc.), knowledge of safety practices on IT/construction job sites (steel toe boots, safety vest, hard hat, etc.), familiarity of power tool, scissor & boom lift utilization and reliable transportation.

IT and construction experience are required. Military experienced candidates are encouraged to apply. Open to applicants who do not have a college diploma. Preference for verifiable IT and/or construction certifications.

All candidates MUST pass a 10-year criminal background check, 10-panel drug screening test, have current valid drivers’ license, and proof of work eligibility.

Job Responsibilities to include:

· Follow instructions from work supervisors and IT stakeholders

· Assist potential external stakeholders in the uptime, performance and reliability of airport technology systems

· Comply with universal IT security procedures

· Clean and clear debris from the work area

· Ensure equipment and tools are cleaned and stored properly

· Consult with construction and IT plans

· Learn familiarity with audio/video equipment, digital media players and associated network devices

Minimum Qualifications:

• must have a willingness to become proficient with hand tools, ladders, and personal protective safety equipment
• must be able to troubleshoot basic IT and networking issues
• must be able to pass a criminal background check
• must be able to pass a drug screening
• must have a cell phone
• Must own a pair of steel toe boots
• must have reliable transportation
• must have a laptop with Windows OS
• must have a valid drivers’ license
• must be proficient in Microsoft Office and basic math skills
• must be physically fit; able to maneuver up to 50lbs and climb ladders up to 30ft.
• must have a clean and neat appearance
• must be a self-starter with a good work ethic and ability to work independently
• must have availability to work 3rd shift (6PM to 2AM) opportunities when needed

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Schedule: Day shift

Monday to Friday
