Local SEO Specialist – Advanced GBP & Technical SEO
Position Overview
Seeking an experienced Local SEO Specialist with deep expertise in Google Business Profile (GBP) management, technical SEO, and local market dominance. This role centers on delivering high-impact results through local search strategy, technical optimization, GBP support, and conversion-driven improvements.
Key Responsibilities
-Google Business Profile Management
-Oversee and optimize all aspects of Google Business Profile management, including verification support and correction of inaccurate edits
-Perform NAP (Name, Address, Phone) and category cleanup for precision and consistency
-Implement optimization tactics for improved Map Pack rankings and visibility
-Handle duplicate removal, update photos, services, and products, and maintain multi-location consistency
Local SEO Execution
-Conduct advanced audits using tools such as BrightLocal and interpret heat maps for actionable insights
-Build and clean up citations to strengthen local authority and rankings
-Analyze competitors, expand targeted keywords, and map local intent for strategic optimization
-Develop and implement local content strategies, review systems, and reputation management initiatives
Strategic Growth & Technical SEO
-Deliver sustained growth with a proven record of high ROI through specialized local SEO strategies
-Demonstrate expert-level technical SEO, optimizing websites, keyword strategies, meta tags, title tags, and landing page creation
-Carry out comprehensive competitor analysis and reverse-engineer effective strategies for local prominence
Qualifications
-Minimum 5 years experience working in local SEO, citation building, and GMB management
-Willing to work in person Monday, Wednesday and Friday at our Greenville, SC downtown office
