What are the responsibilities and job description for the House Manager- Part Time position at Eighth Street Community?
Daily Responsibilities
- Develops strong, mutually respectful relationships with residents, community, and other staff members
- Protects the rights and dignity of all residents
- Attends to residents' mental health needs
- Monitor residents' performance and implements additional learning support when necessary
- Attends to residents' personal safety
- Leads residents on activities in and out of the home
- Document resident incidents and give reports to Wellness Supervisor in timely manner
- Teaches residents to exhibit behaviors and values deemed appropriate for a member of the community
Responsibilities of Resident's Direct Care
- Prepares meals in accordance with established menus provided by the Chef
- Provides laundry services for the residents
- Responsible for managing, maintaining, cleaning and securing the resident home facility
- Ensures that residents are properly bathing and brushing their teeth
- Teaches residents healthy lifestyles
- Observe medications daily for residents
Logistics
- Chaperones resident group outings
- Maintain the House Manager Office
- Complete House Manager checklist during shift
- Responsible intake of donations; in-kind receipts
- Assist with inventory control

Pay: From $13.50 per hour
