Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized, energetic, proactive Hiring Manager to lead and optimize our recruiting efforts. This person will build our hiring pipeline, recruit top talent across multiple functions, coordinate candidate assessment, speed up time-to-hire, and ensure we fill roles with high-performance individuals who align with EHP’s culture of speed, precision, and accountability. Your responsibilities will also include looking for new office spaces. The words this is not my job have not been heard here. If this doesn’t scare you, the position may be right for you.
You will report directly to senior leadership and play a critical role in assembling the team needed to sustain our rapid national expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruiting for all open roles: sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, and offer management.
- Develop and refine hiring processes to improve efficiency, consistency, and candidate experience.
- Partner with department heads to understand staffing needs and proactively build role pipelines.
- Maintain an active hiring dashboard with weekly reporting on applicants, funnel stages, conversions, and time-to-fill metrics.
- Write, post, and distribute effective job descriptions across all major recruiting platforms.
- Conduct initial phone screens and evaluate candidates for skill, attitude, communication, and cultural fit.
- Coordinate interview scheduling, panel interviews, scoring matrices, and follow-up communication.
- Implement systems for high-volume hiring, including pre-screening tools, assessment tests, and automated workflows.
- Maintain a strong pipeline of backup candidates for mission-critical roles.
- Protect company culture by ensuring every hire meets EHP’s standards for performance, professionalism, and reliability.
Requirements
- Years of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, or HR (ideally in a fast-growth or high-volume environment) are ideal, however if you have a degree in an adjacent field, HR not liberal arts and are willing to learn on the job, you are welcome to apply.
- Exceptional communication skills — polished, professional, and persuasive.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage dozens of candidates and roles simultaneously.
- Strong judgment and instincts when evaluating talent.
- Ability to create and improve processes from scratch.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with rapidly shifting priorities.
- Positive, self-starting attitude — no hand-holding required.
Preferred (Not Required)
- Prior experience in insurance, healthcare, benefits administration, or payroll-related industries.
- Experience hiring for sales teams, customer service teams, or account managers.
- Familiarity with interview scoring frameworks or competency-based hiring.
