Job Description
We are seeking a talented Business Development Representative specializing in Discovery Calls to join our close-knit team and serve our EHP affiliates.
The Business Development Representative (Discovery Calls) will be responsible for conducting client-facing exploratory calls with our referral partners. This individual will gather valuable information regarding the affiliate’s needs and goals, and share the ways in which EHP services will align. A successful candidate will have top-tier communication talents, a strong work ethic, and excellent sales/customer service skills. This role is best suited for a candidate with a strong sales background.
Responsibilities
- Reach out to EHP affiliates and execute discovery calls to learn more about needs and goals
- Conduct scheduled information-gathering presentations
- Provide information regarding EHP’s services in relation to affiliates
- Ask strategic questions to understand prospect goals, challenges, and eligibility
- Build rapport and trust while maintaining a professional and consultative tone
- Collaborate with EHP’s internal team and provide updates accordingly
- Ensure discovery call timelines are being adhered to
- Prepare the affiliate for next steps following EHP’s roadmap
- Utilize EHP technology and systems to track and record progress
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2-5 years of sales, marketing or relevant client-facing experience
- Experience in discovery calls, client consultations, or enrollment presentations preferred
- Proficiency in managing and maintaining affiliate and customer relationships
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Self-starter with adaptability, prioritization skills, and an eagerness to learn
- Proficiency in utilizing computers, CRM systems, Microsoft, and Google applications
- Results-oriented mindset with the ability to handle objections professionally
- Professional demeanor and positive attitude
