What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Development Representative position at BNX Business Advisors, LLC.?
Role Overview
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) for BNX Business Advisors plays a critical front-line role in shaping how organizations and leaders enter the BNX ecosystem. This role is responsible for identifying, qualifying, and stewarding prospective clients, partners, and program participants across BNX’s leadership development, HR advisory, compliance training, and professional education services.
This role exists to replace confusion with clarity. The SDR guides conversations with purpose, builds trust through credibility, and ensures that organizations engaging with BNX are aligned culturally, strategically, and operationally before moving forward.
This is not transactional sales. This role requires discernment, emotional intelligence, and the ability to lead thoughtful conversations that clarify readiness, fit, and commitment. The SDR serves as a gatekeeper and guide, protecting the quality, outcomes, and reputation of BNX by ensuring the right organizations enter the right engagements at the right time.
The SDR works closely with BNX leadership to support enrollment, partnership development, and long-term relationship building that drives sustainable growth and measurable performance outcomes.
Core Responsibilities
The SDR is responsible for initiating and managing early-stage conversations with prospective clients and partners through inbound leads, outbound outreach, referrals, and warm introductions.
This includes conducting structured discovery conversations, asking intentional and strategic qualifying questions, and assessing alignment with BNX’s mission, delivery standards, and advisory approach.
You will clearly and confidently educate prospects on BNX offerings, including leadership development programs, HR and organizational advisory services, compliance and professional training solutions, and long-term partnership models. Your role is to create clarity and confidence, not pressure or oversell.
When appropriate, you will advance aligned prospects to enrollment, proposal development, or deeper strategic conversations with BNX leadership.
The SDR will maintain organized records of conversations, follow-ups, and next steps, ensuring every prospect is stewarded with professionalism, consistency, and respect. You will also nurture long-term relationships with organizations that are not yet ready to engage, recognizing that timing, budget cycles, and organizational readiness vary.
Key Activities
On a daily basis, the SDR engages in outreach and follow-up through LinkedIn, email, phone, text, and direct messaging. You will respond promptly to inbound inquiries, manage scheduled discovery calls, and track engagement accurately within the CRM or tracking system.
You will collaborate closely with BNX leadership to refine messaging, identify patterns in readiness or objections, and continuously improve the onboarding and enrollment experience.
This role requires thoughtful preparation for conversations, recognizing that many prospects are navigating leadership challenges, workforce complexity, compliance pressures, and organizational
growth simultaneously.
Success Metrics
Success in this role is measured by:
- Quality and consistency of meaningful discovery conversations
- Accurate qualification and alignment of prospective clients and partners
- Conversion of aligned prospects into BNX programs and engagements
- Strong stewardship of relationships, even when enrollment is delayed
- Professional communication, documentation, and follow-through
- Contribution to a high-integrity, values-driven growth culture
This role prioritizes fit, outcomes, and long-term impact, not volume alone.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is relational, confident, and grounded in conversation. You are comfortable engaging senior leaders, business owners, and decision-makers on topics such as leadership effectiveness, organizational performance, workforce strategy, and growth challenges.
You understand that in this environment, sales is an extension of service, credibility, and strategic alignment.
You likely have experience in:
- Sales development, admissions, enrollment, or consultative sales
- Professional services, consulting, education, or advisory environments
- Navigating objections with calm, clarity, and professionalism
- Managing pipelines, follow-ups, and CRM systems consistently
You are self-directed, organized, and capable of operating independently while staying closely aligned with leadership priorities and brand standards.
Cultural Alignment
Because this role represents BNX Business Advisors, alignment with BNX’s values is essential. You operate with integrity, discretion, professionalism, and emotional maturity. Strong judgment, confidentiality, and respect for client trust are non-negotiable.
You are comfortable representing a firm that sets the standard for leadership development, organizational design, and performance strategy and understands the responsibility that comes with advisory influence.
Compensation
This is a commission-only role, designed for high performers who want income tied directly to impact, outcomes, and long-term value creation.
Because many BNX offerings involve recurring engagements, advisory retainers, and repeat program participation, aligned enrollments compound over time. Commissions build month over month, creating scalable earning potential rather than one-time payouts.
For the right individual, this role can evolve into a highly lucrative position with long-term growth opportunities. As performance and revenue milestones are achieved, the role may transition into a W2 position with benefits.
Why This Role Matters
The SDR is both a gatekeeper and a guide. The conversations you steward directly influence client outcomes, program culture, and BNX’s long-term impact in the organizations we serve.
This role exists to protect quality, uphold standards, and ensure that every engagement begins with clarity, alignment, and confidence.
If you are motivated by meaningful work, strategic conversations, and helping organizations grow with intention, this role offers the opportunity to operate with purpose and professional excellence.
