Location: LifeChoice Solutions & Brecon Village Senior Living Community, Saline, MI 48176

Job Type: Full-Time | Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Handyman to join our team, providing services to our senior living residents as well as clients who live in their own homes in the greater Washtenaw County area. The ideal candidate will have experience in general handyman services, basic maintenance, and home repairs, along with a commitment to excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Perform resident, staff, member, and community maintenance requests in local community homes, Brecon Village, and/or Evangelical Homes-Saline
• Maintain compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements
• Respond to, schedule, and complete service requests from members and community. Independently plan and organize Life Choice Solutions appointments
• Purchase supplies and manage division expenses
• Diagnose problems and perform minor plumbing, as necessary
• Minor painting and touch up of walls, doors and other areas as needed
• Packing, moving, or relocating boxes or other items for residents
• Changing lightbulbs
• Other minor duties as assigned
  
  
  

What It Takes to Join Our Team:

• Prior experience with light maintenance or handyman work
• Experience working with hardware tools and using ladders
• Basic understanding of plumbing, and/or HVAC systems
• Strong math skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver’s License required.
