What you will do as a Charge Nurse at Evangelical Home:
- Lead and Support Nursing Staff - Supervise, mentor, and coordinate LPNs, CNAs, and other healthcare team members.
- Provide Direct Patient Care - Administer medications, treatments, and monitor residents’ health conditions.
- Develop and Implement Care Plans - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure personalized, high-quality care.
- Ensure Compliance and Documentation - Maintain accurate records and adhere to state, federal, and facility regulations.
- Communicate with Families and Respond to Emergencies - Provide updates, address concerns, and handle urgent medical situations.
- LPN license in the State of Michigan required
- Long term care and/or subacute rehab experience required
- CPR Certification
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently
- Compassionate and caring demeanor
- Bedside manner
- Must be able to relay information concerning a resident’s condition
