Responsible for receiving product; identifying that it has been entered correctly into data software; generate repair ticket; and assist in the repair process as directed.

- Working as a bridge between customers and engineering teams
- Using customer input and Tech Support feedback information to test accordingly and find solutions, develop test and battery solutions for customers
- Provide Testing results from damaged batteries.
- Feedback, installations, maintenance and often performing presentations and demonstrations.
- Providing Technical Support from warranty, application engineers provide customers with ongoing technical support.
- Resolving customer issues, providing updated software and hardware support, performing install, and failure analysis for RMA products.
- Interfacing with product management, manufacturing, and technical departments.
- Complete tickets with troubleshooting and repair analysis
- Set up QA, RMA, FAI process for the dept and create data sheet, RMA report, and 8D Failure Analysis report for products.
- Determining different ways to test batteries with correct protocols for testing and documenting every test with results.
- Verifying all the specs the manufacturer provided and documenting the results
- All other duties as assigned
- The ability to differentiate between 12v and 600v AC/DC.
- Under the guidance of the Senior Bench Tech, demonstrate an ongoing understanding of how to evaluate a repair in order to ensure we are not just fixing the symptom, but are addressing the source of the problem.
- The ability to correctly use various meters for VAc, VDc, ohms, resistance, and amps.
- Ability to read and understand instructions.
