Job Summary

The Associate Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) will support the financial planning process by assisting in the development of budgets, forecasts, and analytical models that drive strategic decision-making. This role will work closely with the Revenue leaders and cross-functional teams to optimize financial performance, identify growth opportunities, and deliver actionable insights that support business objectives. The position will also contribute to financial reporting, performance tracking, and the development of data-driven tools that provide leadership with greater visibility into key business metrics and operational performance.

This role requires being onsite five days a week at our NYC headquarters.

Essential Job Functions

• Support the financial planning process through the development of budgets, forecasts, and financial models to ensure accurate reporting and business insights.
• Analyze financial performance and assist in identifying key trends, risks, and opportunities ensuring alignment with company goals.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to evaluate financial results and help identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and profitability.
• Assist in tracking project launches and performance through leading and lagging indicators to provide insights on ROI and commercial strategies.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and KPI reporting using Power BI, SQL, and Excel to provide stakeholders with visibility into business performance.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc financial reporting, including variance analysis versus budget and forecast.
• Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance reporting accuracy, efficiency, and decision-making across the FP&A function.

Qualifications & Competencies

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, corporate finance, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Excel and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar); SQL experience is a plus.
• Strong skills across financial modeling, analytical insights, and communication.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and translate financial data into actionable insights.
• Experience in the cruise industry or retail sector is a plus.
