Our client, a leader in commercial real estate, is seeking a dependable and service-oriented Workplace Experience Coordinator to support their team in New York, NY. This is a full-time, onsite position operating with flexible hours on the Morning Shift 7:30am - 3:30 pm and the Afternoon shift 12:30pm - 8:30pm.
This position starts as a 1-month contract to hire opportunity with the opportunity to extend and pays $24-26.50 per hour based on experience. This position offers the opportunity to serve as the face of the workplace while supporting smooth daily operations. The Workplace Experience Coordinator will work in a professional, fast-paced environment and play an essential role in creating a welcoming and efficient experience for employees and visitors.
Key Responsibilities of a Workplace Experience Coordinator
• Serve as the first point of contact for all visitors—greeting guests warmly, issuing visitor and parking passes, and following security protocols.
• Answer incoming calls professionally and prepare presentations; communicate confidently with groups of various sizes.
• Arrange and confirm recreational, dining, and business activities on behalf of internal requestors.
• Coordinate workplace services including mail handling, office supplies, onboarding support, and janitorial or maintenance work orders.
• Respond to inquiries or complaints from employees, guests, and coworkers, delivering solutions with exceptional customer service.
• Organize and manage on-site events, including reserving event space, handling setup/teardown, and ensuring supplies are delivered.
• Follow property-specific security and emergency procedures and notify appropriate personnel to ensure safety.
• Coordinate with vendors providing workplace goods or services.
• Communicate detailed information within the team, follow manager direction, and complete tasks using established procedures to solve straightforward problems.
Workplace Experience Coordinator Qualifications
• High School Diploma or GED required; up to 2 years of Front Desk job-related experience preferred.
• Ability to follow established routines, standards, and procedures.
• Strong communication skills for exchanging clear, straightforward information.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
• Excellent organizational skills and an inquisitive, proactive mindset.
